KAS Neo Lock Handle and Latch Jammed or Not Going Back to its Original Position

Please follow these instructions to address the issue:

Excessive tightening of the lock screws can cause the body of the lock to warp, resulting in a stuck handle and bound latch. Below are instructions on which screws to loosen in order to unbind the lock effectively.

  1. Loosen the screws located on the battery compartment at the back of the lock, and then remove the compartment. Note that one of the screws is situated behind the batteries.
  2. Next, carefully loosen the three screws on the back plate. This should allow the handle to return to its original position, effectively unjamming it.
