Ensure the following to wake up keypad:

  • Batteries are inserted with correct orientation
  • Batteries are new and not flat
  • Use your palm – 3 or more fingers and cover a large area of the keypad – you cannot wake up the keypad successfully with only 1 finger

If keypad still does not wake up:

  • Press the 'refresh switch' on the base of the front lock handle (see image below) for 3 seconds.  Let go and wait 5 seconds. This will reset the electronic circuit board.
  • Now try waking up keypad
